A Club Option Pack Licence includes a Duplicate Scorer Club Licence. The Club Option Pack licence is also available as an upgrade for existing Duplicate Scorer licence holders).
It is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure that a licence is necessary for their requirements, and to use the free trial periods to ensure that Duplicate Scorer and the Club Option Pack meet their requirements. Licence fees are not refundable.
Note specifically that a Club Option Pack Licence does not cover use of Duplicate Scorer's Bridgemate interface. A separate licence is required for Bridgemate use but in many cases this can be provided free of charge. For more details, click on the Licencing menu and choose Bridgemate Licence.
A Club Option Pack Licence is the property of the club nominated at the time of purchase (hereinafter called the "nominated club"). Rights to use Duplicate Scorer and the applications included in the Club Option Pack only extend to individuals for so long as they remain members of the nominated club.
A single user number and licence key will be issued to the nominated club. This licence key may be installed and used on any number of computers owned by the nominated club, or on the personal computers of bona fide members of the nominated club, for the sole purpose of managing the nominated club's membership, and/or using Duplicate Scorer, in connection with events at, or sponsored by, the nominated club.
The same user number and licence key can be used with Duplicate Scorer and will unlock all Duplicate Scorer advanced features.
If an individual ceases to be a member of the nominated club they will cease to be licenced to use the Club Option Pack components on their personal computer. The licence does not permit members to use the Duplicate Scorer or the Club Option Pack for personal competitions or those organised by other bridge clubs or organisations, or to maintain membership lists for organisations other than the nominated club.
A licence removal tool is included in the latest downloads of Duplicate Scorer. Any individual leaving the club must run the licence removal tool and delete the Club Option Pack licence key from his or her personal computer. The licence removal tool should also be used to remove the licence from any club-owned computers before they are sold or otherwise disposed of.
